Once upon a time, there was a secret palace and a magical garden...

Scarlett does not believe in fairy stories. She does not believe in magic, and she especially does not believe silly rumors. She only wants to help her family's struggling flower shop. But when a late frost threatens to destroy the family business, Scarlett has to consider even the most unlikely solutions. Rumors say there is a hidden garden in the forest. Anyone who can climb the garden wall can take as many flowers as they can carry. The catch? No one climbs the wall and lives.

The garden is a dark and deadly thing. For one specific person, it will bring a life of pleasure and beauty, but it comes at a price. The garden demands a sacrifice. Its hunger must be satisfied. Is Scarlett willing to make that deal? Or will she find the garden to be a far greater prize than the flowers she came for?

Book Review: This was an interesting take on the magical garden type tale. Scarlett is desperate to help her family. She follows an old tale to a magical garden. I never thought of vines doing the things they did in this book or how sensual petals could be. But wow oh wow, this short was something else. I enjoyed it very much, which probably says something about me, yet this was a hot read.
